Overviewโ€‹

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") defines the boundaries of permitted behavior when using Thirdrez services. It exists to protect our community, maintain platform integrity, and ensure everyone can enjoy a safe creative environment.

Relationship to Terms

This AUP is part of our Terms of Service. Violations may result in account suspension or termination.


1. General Principlesโ€‹

1.1 Our Community Valuesโ€‹

Thirdrez is built on:

  • Creativity โ€” Supporting artists and developers
  • Integrity โ€” Honest dealings and authentic content
  • Respect โ€” Treating all community members with dignity
  • Innovation โ€” Pushing the boundaries of 3D motion
  • Privacy โ€” Protecting user data and creative work

1.2 Your Responsibilitiesโ€‹

As a Thirdrez user, you agree to:

โœ“ Report violations you encounter
โœ“ Follow platform-specific guidelines

2. Prohibited Contentโ€‹

2.1 Absolutely Prohibitedโ€‹

The following content is never allowed on any Thirdrez service:

We have zero tolerance for CSAM and will report all instances to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and local authorities.

2.2 Restricted Contentโ€‹

The following requires specific permissions or contexts:

2.3 Adult Content Guidelines (Freedom Tier)โ€‹

If you have Freedom Tier access to adult content:

Prohibited (even in NSFW):

โœ— Bestiality or zoophilic content
โœ— Extreme gore combined with sexual content
โœ— Content violating real persons' dignity

3.2 Marketplace Abuseโ€‹

  • Price fixing โ€” Coordinating prices with other sellers
  • Counterfeit assets โ€” Uploading stolen or pirated content
  • Keyword stuffing โ€” Misleading SEO in listings

3.3 Community Abuseโ€‹

Do not:

  • Harassment โ€” Targeting individuals with abuse
  • Doxxing โ€” Publishing others' private information
  • Impersonation โ€” Pretending to be Thirdrez staff or other users
  • Spam โ€” Unsolicited promotional content
  • Hate speech โ€” Content attacking protected groups

4. Intellectual Propertyโ€‹

4.1 Your Obligationsโ€‹

You must:

โœ“ Respect copyrights, trademarks, and patents
โœ“ Properly license any third-party components
โœ“ Not claim ownership of Thirdrez-created assets

4.2 What You Can Doโ€‹

With properly licensed content:

โœ“ Use in commercial projects (paid plans)
โœ“ Modify, retarget, and edit
โœ“ Combine with other assets
โœ“ Create derivative works

4.3 What You Cannot Doโ€‹

Even with a license:

โœ— Resell raw animation files
โœ— Include in competing asset stores
โœ— Remove MotionPrint watermarks
โœ— Claim original authorship
โœ— Use Thirdrez trademarks without permission

5. Kinetiq Engine Specific Rulesโ€‹

5.1 Permitted Usesโ€‹

Kinetiq Engine may be used to:

  • Generate original animations for your projects
  • Edit and refine existing animations
  • Retarget animations to different rigs
  • Export to supported formats (paid plans)

5.2 Prohibited Usesโ€‹

Do not use Kinetiq Engine to:

5.3 Output Ownershipโ€‹

  • You own animations you create with Kinetiq (subject to plan license)
  • Thirdrez retains rights to the underlying technology
  • Base assets remain subject to their original licenses

6. MotionPrint Specific Rulesโ€‹

6.1 Proper Useโ€‹

MotionPrint should be used to:

โœ“ Verify authenticity of animations
โœ“ Generate proof-of-ownership documentation
โœ“ Protect against unauthorized copying

6.2 Prohibited Useโ€‹

Do not use MotionPrint to:

7. API & Developer Rulesโ€‹

7.1 API Accessโ€‹

If you have API access:

โœ“ Automate within published rate limits

Prohibited:

โœ— Exceed rate limits (will trigger automatic throttling)
โœ— Share API keys publicly
โœ— Build competing services using our API
โœ— Scrape data beyond API endpoints

8. Enforcementโ€‹

8.2 Enforcement Processโ€‹

  5. Appeal โ€” Opportunity to contest (except Critical violations)

8.3 Appeal Processโ€‹

If you believe enforcement was in error:

  1. Email [email protected] within 14 days
  2. Include your username and specific violation
  3. Provide context or evidence supporting your appeal
  4. Wait for review (typically 5-10 business days)
Critical Violations

Appeals are not available for Critical violations (CSAM, terrorism, etc.). These result in permanent, irrevocable bans.


9. Reporting Violationsโ€‹

If you encounter content or behavior violating this AUP:

9.2 What to Includeโ€‹

Effective reports include:

- URL or location of content
- Description of the violation
- Screenshots (if applicable)
- Your username (optional but helpful)
- Any relevant context

9.3 Reporter Protectionโ€‹

  • Reports are confidential
  • We don't disclose reporter identity to violators
  • Good-faith reports are protected from retaliation
  • False reports may result in action against the reporter

10. Changes to This Policyโ€‹

We may update this AUP to reflect:

  • New features or services
  • Evolving community standards
  • Legal requirements
  • Industry best practices

Material changes will be announced via email and website notice. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
