Overview
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") defines the boundaries of permitted behavior when using Thirdrez services. It exists to protect our community, maintain platform integrity, and ensure everyone can enjoy a safe creative environment.
Relationship to Terms
This AUP is part of our Terms of Service. Violations may result in account suspension or termination.
1. General Principles
1.1 Our Community Values
Thirdrez is built on:
- Creativity — Supporting artists and developers
- Integrity — Honest dealings and authentic content
- Respect — Treating all community members with dignity
- Innovation — Pushing the boundaries of 3D motion
- Privacy — Protecting user data and creative work
1.2 Your Responsibilities
As a Thirdrez user, you agree to:

✓ Respect intellectual property rights
✓ Maintain accurate account information
✓ Report violations you encounter
✓ Follow platform-specific guidelines
2. Prohibited Content
2.1 Absolutely Prohibited
The following content is never allowed on any Thirdrez service:

Zero Tolerance
We have zero tolerance for CSAM and will report all instances to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and local authorities.
2.2 Restricted Content
The following requires specific permissions or contexts:

2.3 Adult Content Guidelines (Freedom Tier)
If you have Freedom Tier access to adult content:
Permitted:
✓ Consensual adult themes (all participants depicted as adults)
✓ Artistic nudity
✓ Mature romantic content
✓ Fantasy/fictional adult scenarios
Prohibited (even in NSFW):
✗ Any content depicting or suggesting minors
✗ Non-consensual scenarios presented positively
✗ Bestiality or zoophilic content
✗ Extreme gore combined with sexual content
✗ Content violating real persons' dignity
3. Prohibited Activities
3.1 System Abuse
Do not:

3.2 Marketplace Abuse
Do not:
- Fraudulent listings — Misrepresenting asset quality or contents
- Review manipulation — Fake reviews or review bombing
- Price fixing — Coordinating prices with other sellers
- Counterfeit assets — Uploading stolen or pirated content
- Keyword stuffing — Misleading SEO in listings
3.3 Community Abuse
Do not:
- Harassment — Targeting individuals with abuse
- Doxxing — Publishing others' private information
- Impersonation — Pretending to be Thirdrez staff or other users
- Spam — Unsolicited promotional content
- Hate speech — Content attacking protected groups
4. Intellectual Property
4.1 Your Obligations
You must:
✓ Only upload content you own or have rights to
✓ Respect copyrights, trademarks, and patents
✓ Properly license any third-party components
✓ Not claim ownership of Thirdrez-created assets
4.2 What You Can Do
With properly licensed content:
✓ Use in commercial projects (paid plans)
✓ Modify, retarget, and edit
✓ Combine with other assets
✓ Create derivative works
4.3 What You Cannot Do
Even with a license:
✗ Resell raw animation files
✗ Include in competing asset stores
✗ Remove MotionPrint watermarks
✗ Claim original authorship
✗ Use Thirdrez trademarks without permission
5. Kinetiq Engine Specific Rules
5.1 Permitted Uses
Kinetiq Engine may be used to:
- Generate original animations for your projects
- Edit and refine existing animations
- Retarget animations to different rigs
- Export to supported formats (paid plans)
5.2 Prohibited Uses
Do not use Kinetiq Engine to:

5.3 Output Ownership
- You own animations you create with Kinetiq (subject to plan license)
- Thirdrez retains rights to the underlying technology
- Base assets remain subject to their original licenses
6. MotionPrint Specific Rules
6.1 Proper Use
MotionPrint should be used to:
✓ Establish provenance of your original work
✓ Verify authenticity of animations
✓ Generate proof-of-ownership documentation
✓ Protect against unauthorized copying
6.2 Prohibited Use
Do not use MotionPrint to:

7. API & Developer Rules
7.1 API Access
If you have API access:
Permitted:
✓ Build integrations for your own use
✓ Create tools that enhance Thirdrez workflows
✓ Automate within published rate limits
Prohibited:
✗ Exceed rate limits (will trigger automatic throttling)
✗ Share API keys publicly
✗ Build competing services using our API
✗ Scrape data beyond API endpoints
7.2 Rate Limits

8. Enforcement
8.1 Violation Severity

8.2 Enforcement Process
- Detection — Automated systems or user reports
- Review — Human review of flagged content
- Action — Appropriate response based on severity
- Notification — User informed of action and reason
- Appeal — Opportunity to contest (except Critical violations)
8.3 Appeal Process
If you believe enforcement was in error:
- Email [email protected] within 14 days
- Include your username and specific violation
- Provide context or evidence supporting your appeal
- Wait for review (typically 5-10 business days)
Critical Violations
Appeals are not available for Critical violations (CSAM, terrorism, etc.). These result in permanent, irrevocable bans.
9. Reporting Violations
9.1 How to Report
If you encounter content or behavior violating this AUP:

9.2 What to Include
Effective reports include:
- URL or location of content
- Description of the violation
- Screenshots (if applicable)
- Your username (optional but helpful)
- Any relevant context
9.3 Reporter Protection
- Reports are confidential
- We don't disclose reporter identity to violators
- Good-faith reports are protected from retaliation
- False reports may result in action against the reporter
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this AUP to reflect:
- New features or services
- Evolving community standards
- Legal requirements
- Industry best practices
Material changes will be announced via email and website notice. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
